IMPORTANT RESEARCH USE NOTICE
Products identified as “Research Use Only,” “RUO,” “Laboratory Use Only” or with similar wording are supplied exclusively for legitimate laboratory, analytical and in vitro research.
They are not intended or authorized for human or veterinary use.
This Research Use and Compliance Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions governing purchases from Caribbean Biogenics, a brand operated by Lagrange Life Sciences LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.
- Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to every product offered by Caribbean Biogenics that is identified as Research Use Only.
It applies to Website visitors, customers, account holders, authorized representatives, laboratories, institutions, resellers and any person who receives, handles or takes possession of a Research Use Only product purchased through the Website.
If a future product is expressly marketed and lawfully offered under a different regulatory classification, its product-specific label, instructions and applicable terms will control. Customers must not assume that one product’s classification applies to another product.
- Meaning of Research Use Only
A Research Use Only product is supplied solely for controlled laboratory, analytical or in vitro investigation.
The Research Use Only designation does not mean that a product is approved for administration to humans or animals. It does not convert an otherwise prohibited activity into a lawful one, and it does not replace any license, permit, ethical approval, institutional authorization or regulatory approval required for the proposed research.
- Prohibited Uses
Research Use Only products must not be used:
For human or animal consumption.
For self-administration or administration to another person.
For injection, ingestion, inhalation, topical application or implantation.
For diagnosis, treatment, mitigation, cure or prevention of any disease, condition or symptom.
For therapeutic, clinical or veterinary purposes.
As a drug, medicine, dietary supplement, food, food additive or cosmetic.
For compounding, prescribing, dispensing or preparing a substance for administration.
For weight management, performance enhancement, bodybuilding, aesthetic or recreational purposes.
In an educational demonstration involving administration to a human or animal.
For household, personal or other nonresearch purposes.
In any activity prohibited by applicable law.
Products must not be mixed, prepared, reconstituted or combined with another material for the purpose of human or veterinary administration.
- Customer Eligibility
To purchase a Research Use Only product, the customer must:
Be at least 21 years old.
Have legal capacity to enter into a binding transaction.
Purchase solely for a lawful research purpose.
Possess, or act for an organization possessing, suitable knowledge, training, equipment and facilities.
Understand the hazards associated with handling laboratory research materials.
Comply with all applicable laws, regulations and institutional requirements.
Provide truthful and complete customer, payment, delivery and research information.
A customer purchasing for an organization represents that the customer is authorized to act for and bind that organization.
Caribbean Biogenics may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity, age, organization, qualifications, facilities or research purpose.
- Customer Acknowledgments
By purchasing a Research Use Only product, the customer confirms that:
The purchase is exclusively for legitimate laboratory, analytical or in vitro research.
The product will not be administered or supplied to any person or animal.
The customer will use appropriate laboratory controls, protective equipment and handling procedures.
The customer will follow applicable product labels, storage information and safety documentation.
The customer has independently determined that the purchase, possession, importation, storage, research and disposal of the product are lawful.
The customer will not rely on Caribbean Biogenics for medical, clinical or veterinary advice.
The customer will not misrepresent the intended use of the product.
These acknowledgments are material conditions of every Research Use Only sale.
- No Medical or Clinical Advice
Caribbean Biogenics is not a pharmacy, compounding pharmacy, clinic, hospital, healthcare provider or veterinary provider.
We do not:
Diagnose diseases or medical conditions.
Recommend treatments.
Prescribe or dispense medications.
Provide patient-specific guidance.
Provide dosing, injection or administration instructions.
Establish a physician-patient, pharmacist-patient or other healthcare relationship.
No product description, scientific reference, blog post, Certificate of Analysis, customer-service communication or other Website content should be interpreted as medical or veterinary advice.
Anyone seeking information about a health condition, treatment or medication should consult an appropriately licensed healthcare professional. Caribbean Biogenics cannot advise a person on using a Research Use Only product for health-related purposes.
- Regulatory Status
Unless a product listing expressly states otherwise and supporting authorization has been verified, Caribbean Biogenics does not represent that a Research Use Only product has been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration, the relevant authorities in Trinidad and Tobago or another regulatory authority for human or veterinary use.
Research Use Only wording is a restriction on intended use. It is not a representation that the product may lawfully be sold, possessed or used for every research purpose or in every jurisdiction.
Customers are responsible for identifying and complying with all requirements applicable to their activities. This may include import controls, research approvals, laboratory standards, occupational safety requirements, environmental rules and disposal obligations.
- Product Information and Scientific References
Product information is provided to identify and document research materials. It is not provided to encourage or facilitate human or veterinary use.
Scientific studies or published research may be referenced for general informational or identification purposes. The inclusion of a study does not mean that Caribbean Biogenics endorses, recommends or authorizes the study’s methods or any human, clinical or veterinary application.
Customers must not interpret descriptions of biological mechanisms, molecular targets or published investigations as claims that a product is safe, effective or approved for treating a disease or affecting the human body.
- Certificates of Analysis
Where provided, a Certificate of Analysis applies only to the batch or lot identified in that document.
A Certificate of Analysis may report information such as identity, purity, quantity or other laboratory findings. It does not:
Approve the product for human or veterinary use.
Establish suitability for a customer’s particular research protocol.
Guarantee a specific experimental outcome.
Replace the customer’s own research controls and verification procedures.
Customers must verify that the batch or lot number on the product corresponds with the applicable Certificate of Analysis.
Suspected discrepancies should be reported promptly to enquiries@caribbeanbiogenics.com.
- Handling and Storage
Research Use Only products should be handled only by persons with appropriate laboratory knowledge and facilities.
Customers are responsible for:
Reviewing labels and product documentation before handling.
Using appropriate personal protective equipment.
Preventing unauthorized access.
Maintaining suitable storage conditions.
Preventing contamination or cross-contamination.
Maintaining appropriate research and inventory records.
Following lawful disposal procedures.
Protecting children, animals and unauthorized persons from access.
A customer should stop handling a product and contact Caribbean Biogenics if the label is missing, damaged, illegible or inconsistent with the order or associated documentation.
- Order Review and Verification
Caribbean Biogenics may review an order before or after payment authorization.
We may request:
Proof of identity or age.
The name and nature of the purchasing organization.
A description of the intended research purpose.
Confirmation of appropriate laboratory facilities.
Additional information required by a payment processor, delivery provider or legal authority.
Failure or refusal to provide reasonably requested information may result in order cancellation or account restriction.
- Refusal to Sell
We may refuse, suspend or cancel a transaction when information or conduct reasonably indicates:
Human or veterinary intended use.
Personal or recreational use.
A medical, therapeutic, weight-management, aesthetic or performance-enhancement purpose.
Misrepresentation of identity, qualifications or research purpose.
Attempted evasion of geographic or account restrictions.
Unlawful resale, diversion or export.
Fraudulent activity.
A legal, regulatory or payment-processor concern.
A prior violation of this Policy or our Terms and Conditions.
If an order is canceled after payment has been collected, we will initiate an appropriate refund to the original payment method unless the payment is subject to a lawful hold, investigation or other restriction.
- Customer Communications
Customers must not request:
Human dosing recommendations.
Injection or administration instructions.
Reconstitution instructions intended for administration.
Medical or therapeutic advice.
Information about combining products for human or animal use.
Assistance with concealing a prohibited purpose.
If a customer discloses or suggests a prohibited intended use, our representatives must decline to provide assistance and may refer the communication for compliance review.
- Reviews, Testimonials and User Content
Customers must not submit reviews, testimonials, photographs, videos or other content that:
Describes human or veterinary use.
Discusses dosing, injection, reconstitution for administration or treatment results.
Claims weight loss, muscle growth, healing, anti-aging, sexual, cognitive or other human effects.
Promotes a Research Use Only product as a substitute for an approved medication.
Encourages unlawful or unsafe activity.
Caribbean Biogenics may reject or remove content that is inconsistent with this Policy, even if the customer describes the content as personal experience.
Publication of customer content does not constitute acceptance or endorsement of a prohibited use.
- Resale, Transfer and Diversion
Customers must not resell, forward, transfer or export a Research Use Only product:
To a person under 21 years old.
To a person intending human or veterinary use.
To a prohibited jurisdiction.
In violation of import, export, customs or regulatory requirements.
Using misleading labeling or product claims.
In a manner that removes, conceals or alters Research Use Only labeling.
Commercial resale requires prior written approval from Caribbean Biogenics and may require additional verification or a separate agreement.
Approved resellers must maintain the Research Use Only classification and restrictions throughout the distribution chain.
- Geographic Restrictions
At launch, Caribbean Biogenics accepts online orders for delivery within Trinidad and Tobago only.
Website accessibility from another country does not constitute an offer to sell or ship there. Customers must not use false addresses, freight-forwarding arrangements or third parties to circumvent a destination restriction.
Additional countries may be added only after applicable operational, legal, regulatory and payment-processing requirements have been reviewed.
- Safety Incidents and Product Concerns
A customer who identifies damaged packaging, suspected contamination, labeling discrepancies or another research-product concern should:
Stop handling the affected product.
Secure it against unauthorized access.
Retain the product, packaging, batch information and documentation.
Contact enquiries@caribbeanbiogenics.com promptly.
Follow any reasonable investigation, isolation, return or disposal instructions.
Caribbean Biogenics is not an emergency or medical service. If a person or animal has been exposed to a product, contact the appropriate emergency service, poison-control resource or licensed healthcare or veterinary professional immediately.
- Product Notices, Withdrawals and Recalls
Caribbean Biogenics may issue a product notice, batch notice, withdrawal or recall.
Customers agree to maintain accurate contact information, review communications relating to their orders and cooperate with reasonable instructions concerning an affected product.
A product subject to a notice, withdrawal or recall must not be transferred, resold or used contrary to the instructions provided.
- Compliance Records and Privacy
We may retain records reasonably necessary to:
Process and document transactions.
Perform age, identity, fraud and compliance reviews.
Investigate suspected misuse or diversion.
Respond to payment disputes.
Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
Protect customers, the Company and third parties.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
- Enforcement
Violation of this Policy may result in:
Order refusal or cancellation.
Suspension or closure of an account.
Refusal of future service.
Cancellation of promotional or loyalty benefits associated with misuse or fraud.
Preservation of relevant records.
Disclosure to a payment processor, delivery provider or authority when required or permitted by law.
These measures may be taken without prior notice when immediate action is reasonably necessary to prevent harm, fraud, unlawful activity or regulatory exposure.
- No Waiver of Applicable Law
No acknowledgment, disclaimer, Website statement or contractual provision authorizes conduct prohibited by law.
Customer acceptance of this Policy does not relieve Caribbean Biogenics of obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded. It also does not relieve the customer of responsibility for the customer’s conduct, facilities, research or intended use.
- Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in products, operations, legal requirements, payment-processing rules or compliance practices.
The current version and revision date will appear on this page. Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.
